Dominic ‘Nick’ A Cusano of West Chester

Dominic “Nick” A. Cusano, age 86, of West Chester passed away peacefully Monday, November 20, 2017.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lucille (Handwerk) Cusano. His children; Steven, Susan, James and (wife) Melissa Jones Cusano. Grandchild­ren; Dominic “Nick”, Samuel “Sam” and Eva Grace Cusano. Nephews; James and Christophe­r Carter.

He was preceded in death by sister, Gloria (Cusano) Carter.

As a young boy he attended Admiral Farragut Academy in Toms River, New Jersey. A proud student, athlete and battalion commander he spoke highly of his time there and continued to support the Academy and its future, which continues at its southern campus in St Petersburg, Florida.

Nick spent his entire career with Scott Paper Company. Managing manufactur­ing plants in Oconto Falls, Wisc., facilities in Winslow, the Northeast and Skowhegan, Maine. He retired from his career as VP of Human Resources in Philadelph­ia, Pennsylvan­ia.

Those who knew Nick will understand his passion for History, Golf, Art, and his Family. He was always ready with Big Hugs and “Who wants to ride along” when going anywhere. He will be missed dearly and remembered and admired for his genuine drive, shared with all who met him.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers contributi­ons can be made in his name to Admiral Farragut Academy, (501 Park St. N., St. Petersburg, FL. 33710 ) or The American Diabetes Associatio­n.
