Gene R. Williams of Paoli, PA

Gene R. Williams, age 71 of Paoli, PA passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester. He was the beloved husband of Carol Pusey Williams and father of Marsha L. Williams.

Gene was born on July 21, 1946 in Berwyn, PA to the late Howard R. and Mabel Davis Williams. He was a graduate of the 1964 class of Conestoga High School and an alumnae of Peirce College.

Gene was a member of the Tredyffrin-Easttown Veterans Association, former member of ICMA and the Berwyn Fire Company. He was also a member of Berwyn United Methodist Church where he served as the Treasurer and most recently as the Finance Committee Chairperson. He was a “motor head” in his teens and classic car enthusiast as an adult.

He is survived by his wife, Carol of 48 years and daughter Marsha. He was the brother of the late Howard D. Williams of Houston, TX and is survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Gene’s Service of Remembrance and Fellowship on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Berwyn United Methodist Church, 140 Waterloo Avenue, Berwyn, PA. Friends may visit from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
