CHEYNEY » Police are looking for three men who committed a daring armed robbery of the T-Mobile store in Thornbury Township Saturday night, restrained three employees, and made off with cellphones, tablets and cash.

According to Det. William Cahill, of the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department, the armed robbery took place at 9:21 p.m. at the T-Mobile Store located at 1359 Dilworthtown Crossing, just as employees were preparing to close the store.

Cahill said two men entered the front door at 9:09 p.m. One entered with a pistol in his right hand, and did not have his face covered initially, and it was picked up by security cameras. He ordered employees to the rear of the store at gunpoint as the second man, described only as a black male, entered the front door wearing a black ski mask.

Once the employees were confined to the rear of the store, the man with a ski mask produced

large trash bags and ordered an employee to load the bags with cellphones and tablets. He then tied the wrists of the other two employees with wire ties as the white male suspect threatened to shoot them if they failed to comply.

During the robbery, Cahill said the suspects were communicating with a third person, the driver of a silver sport utility vehicle parked outside. Once the third employee was restrained, the

silver SUV moved from the front parking lot to the rear door of the store where the two suspects loaded the store inventory into the SUV. The SUV was last seen exiting the parking lot onto Route 202 northbound. Police believe that the vehicle involved in the crime proceeded south on Route 202 toward Delaware.

The three store employees, who were not injured, were able to free themselves from the restraints and called 911 for police assistance, Cahill said.

The first suspect is described as a white male, mid 20s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with brown hair,

mustache and a green tattoo on his neck. He was wearing a black knit cap, black bandana with white print, black gloves, a gray zip hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. He was armed with a handgun equipped with a laser.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet 3 inches tall, wearing a black knit cap, black mask, black bomber style zip-up jacket, black gloves, black pants and black gloves.

The vehicle involved in the robbery appears to be a silver sport utility vehicle with dark tinted windows.

The suspects were able to

remove the various brand cellphones and tablets that were in stock at the Thornbury store, along with cash from the money drawers.

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department received assistance at the scene from the West Goshen Township Police Department and the Birmingham Township Police Department.
