Randolph C. “Randy” Patton, 63, of East Fallowfiel­d Twp, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Neighborho­od Hospice of West Chester. He was the beloved husband of Sherri Summers Patton, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesvill­e, he was the son of the late Ernest C. and Ella E. Draucker Patton.

Mr. Patton graduated from Coatesvill­e High School in 1972 and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rosemont College in 2001. He worked as a gas mechanic and gas pipeline designer for PECO for 30 years before retiring in 2017.

Hewas an avid Bass fisherman; was a former president of Marsh Creek Bass Club and was a former Boy Scout leader of Troop 117 for several years. Randy was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, always had a smile for anyone who needed it, but most of all he was a loving husband and father.

In addition to his wife, Randy is survived by his children, Christophe­r J., Jonathan A. and Samantha E. Patton; a brother, Paul Patton; two sisters, Deborah Conway ( John) and Kimberly Paul ( Eric); 13 nieces and nephews; 22 great nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends and family.

An evening visitation will be held from 6: 00- 8: 00 p. m., Friday, December 22, 2017 and again from9- 10: 45 a. m., Saturday, December 23, 2017, followed by a memorial service at 11: 00 a. m. at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 1060 W. Lincoln Highway, COATESVILL­E, 484- 378- 7210.

Interment will be private with the family.
