William D. Davison of Malvern
William D. Davison, husband of Elinor A. (Deaver) Davison of Malvern, PA passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at the age of 90. Born on April 29, 1927 in New Kensington, PA, he was the son of the late William and Susan (Mattis) Davison.
Mr. Davison served in the U.S Army during World War II. Following the war, William worked in concrete construction in Philadelphia until his retirement in 1992. He was a Free Mason and through the years was very active in his church as a Trustee. During his retirement, he stayed busy building houses and working on renovation projects with his family and friends.
In addition to his loving wife of 68 years, Mr. Davison is survived by his children: daughter Donna Riches, wife of Timothy Riches, son Bill Davison, husband of Lynn Davison and son John Davison, husband of Carla Davison. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend William’s life celebration on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Paoli United Methodist Church, 81 Devon Rd, Paoli, PA. Friends may visit from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
