Thomas G. Sheehan, Jr. of Malvern, PA

Thomas G. Sheehan, Jr., 88, husband of Mary E. (Gordon) Sheehan of Malvern, PA, died on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Wayne Center. Born on August 18, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas G. and Agnes Sheehan.

He served in the Naval Reserves and then US Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany.

He was a Credit Analyst for Dunn & Bradstreet and then worked in sales for the US Chamber of Commerce.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Downingtown, Artisans Order of Mutual Protection, and Knights of Columbus. He also served on the Planning Board for Caln Township.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 63 years are: Son, Thomas George Sheehan, III and wife Michele, Daughter, Maureen Anne Newton, Son, Timothy Edward Sheehan and wife Lisa. 7 Grandchildren: Erin, Geoffrey, Jason, JT, Colin, Chris, and Aidan. 8 Great-Grandchildren: Gavin, Brynn, Raegan, Jeremy, Emily, Jane, Jameson, and Henry.

He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Agnes and brother Joseph.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 11:00 am.

Friends may call at the church Tuesday morning from 10:00am to 11:00am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market Street #102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
