Caln police seeking runaway juvenile

Caln Township Police Department is attempting to locate a runaway juvenile, Savann Anthony Coles. Coles is 5-feet 10-inches tall, 150 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Savann was last seen by his mother on the morning of Dec. 14 leaving his home headed to Scott Middle School in the City of Coatesvill­e. Savann was last seen wearing a black shirt, maroon sweat pants, and tan Timberland boots Savann has been reportedly seen in and around the area of Sixth Ave and Lincoln Highway in the city of Coatesvill­e over the past several weeks. The investigat­ion has indicated that Savann has been in contact with friends and family. Anyone with informatio­n regarding the location of Savann Coles should contact the Caln Township Police Department at 610383-7000.

She slid off the roadway, hit signs and went into a ditch. She reported some injuries but refused treatment, police said. TERRORISTI­C THREATS » Nicole Robinson, 51, of Landenberg called on a phone from the 200 block of Jess Pusey Drive in Franklin Township on Dec. 28 at 12:08 p.m. and threatened to kill the police, the DA and her brother, police said.

SIMPLE ASSAULT » A 31-yearold female from East Marlboroug­h Township was intoxicate­d

and got into a physical altercatio­n with her parents on Jan. 7. She was arrested for simple assault and harassment, police said.

HARASSMENT » Janet Jones Silver, 48, of Wynnewood repeatedly contacted a victim of the 200 block of Forest Manor Road in Upper Oxford Township between July and December by email, phone and text, police said.

EWING ROAD » A car that was traveling on Route 926 in Upper Oxford Township in the snow slid off the roadway on Jan. 4 at 2:14 p.m. and went into a ditch. The car was removed by a tow truck and driven from the scene, police said.

EXIT RAMP SLIDE » A car was driving on the exit ramp from Route 1 to Route 10 in Lower Oxford Township on Jan. 4 at 3:29 p.m. and slid

against a guardrail. The car sustained some damage but was driven from the scene, police said. » Joseph Christophe­r Matuszewsk­i, 47, of Drexel Hill, failed to stop for a red light at Route 1 and 52 in Kennett Township on Jan. 2 at 2:13 a.m. He then failed to stop for troopers with lights and sirens. The pursuit ended 13 miles southbound on Route 1. He was taken into custody after his vehicle became disabled from spike strips, police said. BALD WITH FACIAL HAIR

» A bald man with facial hair removed items totaling $596 from Walmart in East Marlboroug­h Township on Nov. 22 at 5:15 p.m. He then fled in a black Ford F150 with wood panels in the back with a license plate C686004, police said.

WALMART THEFT » Two males removed various items from the East Marlboroug­h Walmart on Nov. 22 at 6:37 p.m. and fled in a silver Hyundai sedan with partial license plate number 4223. Any informatio­n? Call the state police at 610-2682011, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » A male removed items worth about $500 from the Walmart in East Marlboroug­h Township on Nov. 22 at 3:52 p.m. He fled in a gray hatchback, police said.

DRUGS » William James Thompson, 33, of Kennett Square was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana at a traffic stop on Route 1 in Kennett Township on Dec. 11 at 10:55 p.m., police said.

ROBBERY » On Friday, Jan. 12, at 12:45 a.m., a man entered the Turkey Hill mini market located at 10 East First Avenue and displayed a knife to the clerk while demanding money and tobacco products. The subject was later identified as Andrew Garver, 22 of Parkesburg, through video surveillan­ce captured of the incident. At 11;15 A.M. Garver was located on Second Avenue and taken into custody. Garver was arraigned in front of the Honorable District Judge Nancy Gill and remanded to the Chester County Prison in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.

DUI » Christophe­r J. Gracie, 30, of Kirkwood was arrested and charged with DUI and a related traffic offense, as well as with violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act , following a traffic stop for erratic driving. The incident occurred on Jan. 6 at 7:21 p.m., in the area of Gap Newport Pike and Crossan Lane, in New Garden Township. Police received a complaint about a Jeep being driven in an erratic manner on northbound Gap Newport Pike. Police observed the vehicle serve into the opposite lane of travel and initiated a traffic stop.

DUI » Stephanie L. Lake, 50, of West Grove was arrested and charged with DUI and a traffic offense, after the Nissan SUV she was operating was stopped for not having its headlights on. The incident occurred on Jan. 6 at 10:02 p.m., in the 800 block of Newark Road, in New Garden Township. Upon making contact with Lake, police observed indicators suggesting intoxicati­on. Field sobriety tests were not attempted due to the extreme cold temperatur­e but a preliminar­y breath test confirmed the presence of alcohol.

DUI » Noemi Borreli, 24, of Newark, Delaware was arrested and charged with DUI and related traffic offenses, after the 2016 Kia she was driving was stopped for erratic driving. The incident occurred on

Jan. 7 at 2:40 a.m. in the 500 block of Newark Road, in New Garden Township. Police on patrol observed the vehicle travel through a steady red light, at the intersecti­on of Newark Road and Gap Newport Pike. The vehicle continued south on Newark Road at a high rate of speed and went through the stop intersecti­on at Starr Road, without stopping.

Ronald J. Czyzyk Jr., 42, of Landenberg was arrested and charged with DUI and related traffic offenses, following a traffic stop for several moving violations. The incident occurred on Dec. 29 at 12:05 a.m., in the area of Walnut Avenue and Prospect Avenue, in West Grove Borough. Upon making contact with Czyzyk, police observed indicators suggesting intoxicati­on. After failing field sobriety tests, Czyzyk was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. He submitted to a chemical test of his breath, resulting in a BAC of .130 percent.
