Coatesville girls swamp Cougars

Lauren DiCamillo, Peyton Wolf and Jordyn DiCamillo won four events each as Coatesville improved to 6-0 with an 102-82 Ches Mont League National Division girls swimming victory over Downingtown East on Friday.

The Red Raiders won all three relay events and seven of the eight individual events.

Katla Bock and Mackenzie Yosko were also winners for Coatesville.

Grace McElroy won the 100 breaststroke for Downingtown East and Leah Christie took first place in diving.

UNIONVILLE 114, WEST CHESTER RUSTIN 72 » The Indians moved to 3-0 with the Ches-Mont American victory. Lilly Carlson and Caroline Mack were two top performers.

GREAT VALLEY 99, KENNETT 71 » Becca Choi and Allyssa Utecht won four events each as the Patriots rolled to the Ches-Mont National win. Choi was part of the 200 free and 400 free relay teams and also took the 50 free and the 100 free. Utecht was on both relays and took the 100 free and the 200 free, Sydney McCracken was victorious in the 100 breast and part of the 200 medley relay for the Blue Demons.

CONESTOGA 104, SPRINGFIELD (DELCO) 64 » The Pioneers (7-0, 8-0) won every event except the 200 free en route to the Central League victory. Conestoga won the 200 medley relay with Jack Hughes, Oliver Brown, Miles Whitaker and June Seo Choi, the 200 free with Evan Zhou, Ishau Jieng, Luke Nagel and David Yu and the 400 free relay with Choi, James Hughes, Arjun Rao and Burns. Individually, Aidan McKenrick took the 200 IM, Aidan Hunter the 50 free, James Hughes the 100 free and Kevin Ryle the 500 free. Owen Neuman took the 100 fly and the 100 back.

DOWNINGTOWN EAST 106, COATESVILLE 65 » Ben Doyle and Vincent Ye were triple winners for the Cougars in the Ches-Mont National win. Patrick MacCausland and Owen Kalucki also had first-place finishes for. Ethan Moore won the 200 free, the 100 free and was on the 200 and 400 free relay teams for the Red Raiders (4-2). Sean Wolstenholme was a double winner.

UNIONVILLE 101, WEST CHESTER RUSTIN 82 » Thomas Smiddy, Liam Callahan and Josh Rubin were top performers for the Indians (21) in the Ches-Mont american victory.

KENNETT 87, GREAT VALLEY 83» Emils Jurcik was a triple winner to power the Blue Demons to the ChesMont American victory.

WESTTOWN 58, SHIPLEY 42» Halle Brown had 14 points and three assists to lead the Moose (11-4) to the nonleague victory. YALE TRACK CLASSIC » The Great Valley distance medley relay team of Brett Zatlin, Brian McDonough, Seth Hoffritz and Riley Casey placed second in the under 600 division, Their time of 10:51.26 is the seventh fastest in the state. The Kennett 4x400 team of Joshua Ramagano, Nick Brison, Peter Schwarz and Cole Langley was 10th.

YALE TRACK CLASSIC » For Kennett, the 4x400 relay team of Claire Dawyot, Scarlet Morgan, Alex Cresci and Sofie Lusvardi was sixth, while the DMR team of Sofie Lusvardi, Dawyot, Melissa Fitsgibbons and Rachey Hyzny was eighth.
