Allan H. Kennel of East Goshen

Allan H. Kennel, of East Goshen Township, passed away on February 1, 2018 following a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Kennel, to whom he was married for over 50 years, and their two sons David (Lori) and Jeffrey (Cheryl), and two grandsons Jackson and Samuel.

Mr. Kennel moved to the West Chester area in 1997 to take a new assignment with General Electric. Mr. Kennel was a Human Resource Executive with GE and had worked at numerous locations in the US as well as in Europe and India. Following his retirement from GE in 2003, Mr. Kennel undertook several consulting assignments with local companies and a major international company.

Mr. Kennel was a member of the Philadelphia Unit of The Herb Society of America, the International Thunderbird Club, and the “Top Dead Center” motor club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army on active duty from 1966 to 1968, serving as a field artillery instructor.

A Private Remembrance will be held for friends and family at a later date.
