DINNIMAN, RAFFERTY HONOR RUFFINI FAMILY

- Staff Report

WEST CHESTER » State Senators Andy Dinniman and John Rafferty recently recognized the Ruffini family on more than four decades in the restaurant business.

Dinniman and Rafferty recently visited their current location, Pronto Bistro Italiano in Thorndale, to present the Ruffini family with a special Senate citation in honor of their 44th anniversary in the restaurant business.

“The restaurant business is not easy, but the Ruffini family has thrived here in Chester County and built name recognition through a series of success stories,” Dinniman said. “I recognize the Ruffini’s for their entrepreneurial spirit in pursuing the American dream of running a small business, and I wish them continued success and growth for decades to come.”

Since 1974, the Ruffini family has built and operated five successful Italian restaurants in Chester County. They credit the traditions of their close-knit Italian family, authentic recipes, a passion for cooking, and core values of exceptional customer service and fresh, quality ingredients with their success.

In the past, they owned and operated Thorndale Piazza Deli located in Thorndale (1974-1990), Café Gap in Gay (19871990), Ruffini’s Resturant in Thorndale (1989-2012), and Pronto – Fresh, Italian, Fast in Exton.

Their current establishment, Pronto Bistro Italiano in Thorndale, was launched in 2013.
