Brandywine Ballet is proud to announce its spring performance series, Sleeping Beauty. Brandywine Ballet continues its residency in downtown West Chester, Pennsylvania at the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall on the campus of West Chester University. Performances will take place May 18-20, 2018 with specific times listed below. Brandywine Ballet would like to invite school and senior groups to make a reservation at a discount for the performance on May 18th at 10am. Further information for group reservations and individual ticket sales can be found below, along with all performance dates and times.

Sleeping Beauty tells the story of a baby girl named Aurora who was born to the King and Queen of a magical fairytale kingdom. A wicked fairy curses the baby at her christening, promising that Aurora will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die. Luckily the good Lilac Fairy had not yet placed her blessing on Aurora. She softened the evil curse; rather than death the Princess would instead fall into a deep sleep. A century later, with the help of the Lilac Fairy, a Prince seeks to awaken Aurora from this sleep and lift the spell. A magical story awaits audiences who embark on this adventure.

Sleeping Beauty Performances will be held May 18 – 10 am; May 19 – 11 a.m. and 4 p.m; and May 20 – 2 p.m.

Individual Tickets: $25 - $42.

All performances are held at: Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall, 700 S. High Street, West Chester. For more information, boxoffice@brandywineballet.org or 610-696-2711.
