PennDOT to fix potholes on Chester County roads
PennDOT maintenance and contractor crews will be working on more than 60 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement across the five-county Philadelphia region.
In Chester County, the following roads will have potholes removed:
• U.S. 1 in Penn, Lower Oxford, West Nottingham townships;
• Route 29 (Manavon Street) in Phoenixville Borough;
• Route 52 (Lenape Road) in Pocopson Township;
• Route 401 (Conestoga Road) in East Nantmeal Township;
• Route 724 (Schuylkill Road) in East Coventry Township;
• Westtown Road in Westtown Township;
• Sugartown Road in Easttown Township;
• Lincoln Avenue in East Caln Township;
• Hibernia Road in West Brandywine Township;
• Swinehart Road in West Brandywine Township;
• Corner Ketch Road in East Bradford Township; and
• Hopewell Road in East Brandywine Township.
Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.
