Edwin Francis Widmann of Berwyn

Edwin Francis Widmann, 87, of Berwyn, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his children on March 6, 2018. Born October 11, 1930 in Woodhaven New York, married his Beloved Loretta (Sax), wife who preceded him in death, and proud father of six children. Served in the United States Army from 1951 until 1953 at which time he transferred to the Army Reserve until he was Honorably Discharged in 1957. He was employed by Deluxe Check Printers, he retired after 40 years.

Edwin is survived by his six children, Deborah Cecco (Angelo), Edwin Widmann (Kim), Peter Widmann, Michael Widmann, Maureen Galli (Victor) and Thomas Widmann (Mary), 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Peter Widmann, his brother, Gerard Widmann and his sisters Gertrude Widmann and Eileen Widmann.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at St Monica’s Church, 63 Main Ave, Berwyn, PA.

Burial will be immediately following at St. Monica’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. in the church.
