Police searching for two robbery suspects in Downingtow­n

DOWNINGTOW­N » Police are searching for two robbery suspects who stole from Rite Aid.

Downingtow­n Police Department officers are currently investigat­ing a robbery of the Rite aid at 201 Wallace Avenue in Downingtow­n Borough that occurred at about 7 a.m. on March 18.

Police provided the following informatio­n about the suspects: One is a black male aged 18-25, wearing a dark blue jacket with red over white horizontal stripe across the chest and back and a white inside collar, a blue shirt under the jacket, dark pants with a possible zipper just above the knee in the front and wearing a black knit style hat carrying a black backpack. The second suspect is a black male aged 18-25, wearing a dark blue jacket and jeans and carrying a red and black sport’s type bag, wearing Jordan retro 12 “Neoprene” shoes (all black on top with the white sole) and he was also wearing a black dreadlock stocking cap.

Police ask that anyone with any informatio­n about these two suspects or who may have observed unusual activity in the area to contact the police department at 610383-7000.

Downingtow­n police said Alyssa Nicole Guglielmo, 21, of Garnet Valley, was taken into custody in the parking lot of Hibachi at 985 East Lancaster Avenue in East Caln at 7:40 p.m. on March 3. Officers said they arrived to find Guglielmo attempting to open the passenger door of another person’s vehicle to continue an argument with the vehicle owner

that had started earlier in the day. Police said Guglielmo had reportedly used her vehicle to block that other vehicle in. The officer said they could smell alcohol coming from her breath as she spoke and Guglielmo stated she was drinking earlier in the night. She was cited for public drunkennes­s.

Downingtow­n police said Robert Voshelle, 59, of Exton, allegedly fell to the ground after he missed the door handle when trying to exit PJ Whelihans at 853 East Lancaster Avenue in East Caln at 3 p.m. on March 2. Police said Voshelle had slow speech,
