Jeanette S. Beam of Downingtown

Jeanette S. Beam, age 87, of Downingtown, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27, 2018, at the Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, Narvon, PA.

Jeanette was born and raised in Downingtown and was the daughter of the late William and Bessie Warren.

For over 32 years, Jeanette worked at Pepperidge Farm as a line worker in the frozen food department. She was a proud lifelong member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW #845, and volunteered at the Coatesville VA for many years. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Jeanette is preceded in death by her late husband, Leon B. Beam, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage; brother William Warren; and sister Barbara Lee.

Jeanette is survived and missed by her 3 daughters, Joanne E. Wills, Debbie L. Shoemaker (Mike), and Joyce E. Kowal (Ronald); sister Elizabeth Bair; 4 grandchildren; 4 greatgrandchildren; and many extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jeanette’s funeral services on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. Visitation will be 1:30-2:20 PM, followed by a service at 2:30 PM. Burial will follow to Northwood Cemetery, Downingtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Jeanette’s name can be made to the Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center Inc., 2499 Zerbe Road, Narvon, PA 17555.
