Active military or veteran couple to be chosen for free wedding

-

WEST CHESTER » The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center will join John Serock Catering, 835 Lincoln Avenue, A-2, West Chester, to present to one lucky active military or veteran couple a free wedding. The romantic affair will be held on Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018.

“The Veterans Day Wedding Giveaway will comprise donations from local businesses: the photographer, DJ, florist, cake baker and many more,” said Sarah Sands, AHMEC’s Executive Director. “It is a perfect example of the community coming together to serve others. We are thrilled to honor the veterans and active duty military personnel who give and have given so much to our country.”

The prize will be a fivehour ceremony and reception for 100 guests, which includes the venue, catering, wine, beer, DJ, photographer, cake, tuxedo, florist and invitations.

“I feel it is extremely important to give back to those who serve this country. Not only do I have very close family members who are active and retired from different branches of the military, but I currently employ several people who are active reservists in various branches of the military,” said John Serock, president of John Serock Catering. “It is important for our country to take care of those who are willing put ‘service before self’ and fight for the freedoms that many of us take for granted.”

To qualify at least one partner must be serving or have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The application deadline is Monday, May 21 and the winning couple will be notified by mid-June.
