Coatesville police arrest man after high-speed car chase into Caln

On May 11 at 10:26 p.m., Coatesville Police attempted to stop a red Mitsubishi Lancer operated by Victor Woodward, 22, of the 600 block of Merchant Street in Coatesville. Woodward led police on a vehicle pursuit from Coatesville City into Caln Township. During the course of the pursuit, police said Woodward drove at a high rate of speed and drove through the yards of several homes in the area of 16th and 17th avenues. Woodward then fled the vehicle on foot, in an attempt to elude police, and was last seen in the woods in the area of Crest Drive. Woodward faces multiple criminal charges as a result of the pursuit, in addition to an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault in West Chester.

On May 5 at 7:14 p.m., police responded to a possible disturbance in the area of North Seventh Ave and East Lincoln Highway. Lisa Rickard, 38, of Philadelphia was in the area of North Diamond Street and was found to have an active bench warrant for a parole violation. Rickard was taken into custody and transported to station where she was held for constables.

Vanessa Vieau, 32, of the 500 block of East Chestnut Street in Coatesville was arrested for violation of parole on May 13 at 12:23 a.m. She was taken to Chester County Prison.
NARCOTICS VIOLATION »
On Sunday May 13 at 02:46 a.m., officers witnessed a silver Honda Civic run two steady red lights at Route 82 and Lincoln Highway. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle on North Third Avenue. During the traffic stop a bag of marijuana and marijuana blunt was recovered from the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, Leo Butcher, of the 100 block of Harlen Drive in Coatesville, was taken into custody and transported to the station without incident, where he was processed and released.

Krista Horne, 28, of the 700 block of Olive Street in Coatesville, was arrested May 12 for an outstanding bench warrant.
TRESPASSING »
On May 12 at 7:51 p.m., Coatesville police were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers viewed a black male arguing with a white female. The male was found to have entered the house uninvited and he was taken into custody. The male was later identified as Rodrick Harris, 53, of the 1400 block of Blackhorse Hill Road in Coatesville and he was charged with harassment and criminal trespass.
NARCOTICS ARREST »
On Friday May 11, 2018 at 11:38 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a blue Honda civic with expired registration on South Fourth Avenue. During the traffic stop the driver, Latisha Jackson, 33, of the 500 block of East Harmony Street in Coatesville, was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine along with powdered cocaine. Jackson was placed into custody and transported back to station where she was housed awaiting arraignment.

On May 11, at 10:18 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block Merchant Street for a theft from vehicle report. The victim reported that someone broke into his vehicle overnight. HARASSMENT »
On Friday, May 11 at 8:19 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Unit block Pennsylvania Avenue for a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with Kyle Woodley, 60, and Stefanie Zook, 42, both of Pennsylvania Avenue in Coatesville. The two had an argument at which time they struck each other. Both were charged with summary harassment.

On May 11, 2018 at 1:09 p.m., Coatesville Police arrested a 16-year-old male for possession of marijuana and a Xanax pill that was not prescribed to him. He was processed and released to his parents pending a juvenile hearing on the matter.

On Friday, May 11, at 6:24 p.m., officers observed a red sedan at the parking lot of Ash Park Apart-
ments, which was suspended for insurance cancellation. Officers made contact with the driver, Jessie Rollinson, of Honey Brook, who did not provide his identification when asked. Upon running his information it was discovered that he had an active parole violation warrant for his arrest. Rollinson was taken into custody without incident and transported back to the station. During the intake process a 1 inch by 1 inch baggie containing a white powdery substance was recovered from Rollinson. The bag will be sent out to the lab for analysis.

Antoniel Arce, 32, of New Jersey, was arrested for making terroristic threats on May 3 at 11:55 a.m. at the 400 block of Valley Road when he threatened to shoot a person.

On Tuesday May 15, at 10:49 p.m., officers were on mobile patrol on West Lincoln Highway where they saw Robert Hardy of the 200 block of New Street walking down the street and knew him to have an active warrant for his arrest. Officers conducted a pedestrian stop on Hardy where he was taken into custody and transported back to the station without incident. Hardy was housed at the Coatesville Police Station where he awaited pickup from the constables.
