Family fun event to benefit animal rescue

Temenos Retreat will host the “Paws on the Path” benefit for Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue on June 16. Experience the new Peace Path and help raise funds and awareness for Greenmore Rescue. The event will be held from 1-4 p.m. at Temenos Retreat on 1564 Telegraph Road, West Chester, just outside of Marshallton.

The event will feature a parade inviting all rescue dogs to participate in at 2:30 p.m. Vendors with animal products and information will be on premise and there will be several raffle baskets and a 50-50 to benefit Greenmore Rescue. There will be treats for animals and humans alike. In addition, there will be children’s activities and the Pennswood Puppet Theater will present “Mr. Meanie and the Hot Air Balloon” at 1:30 p.m. in the Farm House area. Bring your family for a fun filled afternoon at this beautiful retreat.
