Darrin (‘Spo’) Gerald Spotts of Downingtown
Darrin (“Spo”) Gerald Spotts, 55, of Downingtown, PA passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018.
Born in Piscataway, NJ, he was the son of Gerald Leonard Spotts and the late Lorraine Caroline Spotts (nee Heffner).
Darrin graduated from Twin Valley High School in Elverson PA in 1981, where he contributed to the school’s Division Championship baseball team. Darrin was also a member of the Morgantown street hockey team that was crowned league champions.
Darrin was employed by Pepperidge Farm, where he retired in 2003. He was later known as the bartender at Lou’s All Star Sports Bar & Grille.
Darrin loved to golf, participated for several years in the Downingtown slow pitch softball league and was a loyal fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Orioles. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Downingtown Lodge 1153 and the VFW Post 845.
In addition to his father, Darrin is survived by his brothers; David Emerson Spotts (Bonnie) and Jeffrey Allen Spotts.
A private celebration of Darrin’s life will be held in the near future for his immediate family and close friends.
