Police seek woman in connection with theft at Eddie Bauer store
CONCORD » Police are looking for a 56-year-old Wilmington, Del. woman in connection with a theft Thursay at the Eddie Bauer store on Baltimore Pike in Concord Township, Delaware County.
Police said a woman, later identified as Michelle Annette Burgos, distracted a salesperson while a male accomplice gathered items to steal from the store at 5:25 p.m. The salesperson realized what was happening and saw the man heading toward the door.
In an attempt to stop him from leaving, the salesperson stood in front of the door. But the man shoved the salesperson to the ground in order to flee. Both suspects fled in an unknown direction in a 2017 black Honda Accord, with Delaware registration 83750.
State police at Media said the two stole six Eddie Bauer jackets valued at $1,200.
A photo lineup was conducted and the salesman identified the female. A warrant was then issued, and police are continuing their search for her.

DRUG OVERDOSE » A 34-year-old man was found unconscious by his girlfriend from an apparent drug overdose on June 29 at 3:10 p.m. as she returned home from the beach. First responders were summoned to the residence at 1016 Baltimore Pike in Middletown Township. Two, 4 mg doses of Naloxone were administered and the victim started to breathe but remained unconscious. Medics arrived and two more doses of Naloxone were administered, and the victim was stabilized, but remained unresponsive. He was transported to Riddle Memorial Hospital. Police will continue this investigation.

BB GUNS » Police are looking for people who have been going around shooting up houses and people with BB guns. The latest incident occurred July 1 at 11 p.m. on the 700 block of East Lincoln Highway and the 100 block of South Fifth Avenue in Coatesville.
WARRANT ARREST » On July 2, Coatesville police assisted constables with serving a warrant for Shannon Bowditch, 34, who lives at 105 S. Fifth Avenue. Bowditch was taken into custody without incident.
DOWNINGTOWN
DUI » Joshua Peyton Cannon, 37, of Thorndale was driving a vehicle in the 400 block of West Church Street just before midnight on June 27 when he was involved in an accident with a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Cannon was unsteady, had glassy eyes and an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his person. Cannon failed a field sobriety test and taken into custody for driving under the influence.
