Man arrested for huffing in West Goshen
Police cited a man who was found unconscious in his car for illegal use of solvents and public drunkenness.
WEST GOSHEN » On July 5, West Goshen police were dispatched to 937 Paoli Pike at the Staples parking lot for a man who was unconscious in his vehicle. Police later identified the man as Ryan Coppola, 34, of West Chester. Police said Coppola was inhaling and huffing Endust multi-purpose duster. He was cited for illegal use of solvents and public drunkenness.

WARRANT ARREST » On July 8, at 3:53 p.m. police officers came in contact with Abigayl Bunnell, of the 100 block of Woodland Avenue, who had an active warrant for her arrest. Bunnell was taken into custody and held for processing and arraignment then transported by constables to Chester County Prison. WARRANT ARREST » On Sunday July 08, at 11:40 a.m., police came into contact with Sammaarah J. Smith, 21, of the 900 block of Lumber Street, who had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Smith was taken into custody without incident and housed at Coatesville Police Station. HARASSMENT » On July 7 at 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the Coatesville Towers in the 300 block of East Lincoln Highway for a physical disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Polly Hegarty, 53, and Sarah Kurman who had gotten into a verbal argument that turned physical when Hegarty attacked Kurman. As a result of the investigation, Hegarty was cited for harassment and released. BURGLARY » On July 3 at approximately 2:46 p.m., Coatesville Police responded to Mercedes Beauty Salon in the 200 block of East Lincoln Highway for a burglary report. Upon further investigation it was found that someone entered the salon and took cash from the cash register. RETAIL THEFT » On Monday July 2 at 2:55 p.m., police officers were dispatched to 320 East Lincoln Highway for a retail theft. Through investigation it was found that Dejamarie Dorsey, who lives in the 300 block of West Lincoln Highway, had stolen items from the store and attempted to leave. While attempting to leave the store Dorsey was stopped by Rite Aid employees, and threw the stolen items in the trash can. Dorsey then fled the scene in a silver Ford Bronco heading east on Lincoln Highway, police said.

DUI » On July 3 at 11:23 p.m., a motorist called 911 to report a black Mazda sedan swerving on Route 202. Police responded immediately and located the vehicle while still traveling on Route 202. The driver, Ajia Prince, was arrested for DUI after failing field sobriety tests. DUI » Kathryn Lambert, 28, of West Chester, was charged with DUI, and careless driving following a traffic stop July 8 at 12:43 a.m. Police said Lambert was driving the wrong way in the 700 block of East Gay Street, when a police officer pulled her over and detected signs of impairment. Lambert failed field sobriety tests.
