DUI » Jarett Minor, 33, of Avondale was arrested and charged with DUI and related traffic offenses, after the 2016 Dodge he was driving was stopped for failing to stay in its lane of travel. The vehicle’s registration was also found to be suspended due to insurance cancellation. The incident occurred on July 25 at 1:09 a.m., in the 1700 block of Baltimore Pike, in New Garden Township. Upon making contact with Minor, police observed indicators suggesting intoxication and field sobriety tests confirmed impairment. TERRORISTIC THREATS » A 16 year-old male from Avondale was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, and Harassment, following an argument that turned physical. The incident occurred on July 26 at 2:19 p.m. , in the 1600 block of Baltimore Pike, in New Garden Township. Police were dispatched to the residence, after the caller reported being threatened and then punched by his nephew. Police observed evidence of injury consistent with caller’s account of events. The juvenile was taken into custody, processed, and later released to a family member. FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE » John A. Zimkowski, 46, of Landenberg was arrested and charged with Arrest Prior to Requisition (Fugitive from Justice), after he was found to be wanted by the Delaware State Police, following a traffic stop for an equipment violation. The incident occurred on Aug. 4 at 12:22 p.m, in the 400 block of Penn Green Road, in New Garden Township. The warrant was confirmed and Zimkowski was taken into custody. He was transported to Central Booking where he was processed and held for arraignment and extradition procedures. ELUDING POLICE, DUI » Pedro Juarez-Guillen, 48, of Kennett Square was arrested and charged with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police, DUI, and a related traffic offense, after he fled the scene of a domestic disturbance, in a 2005 Chevrolet, at a low rate of speed. The incident occurred on July 26 at 6:44 p.m., and originated in the 1300 block of Newark Road in New Garden Township. Guillen, one of the involved parties in the domestic, was trying to leave the scene as officers arrived. He ignored instructions to stop and traveled westbound on West Baltimore Pike. DUI » John J. Lipnicki, 59, of Morgantown was arrested and charged with DUI (Controlled Substances) and related traffic offenses, following a traffic stop for erratic driving. The incident occurred on Aug. 4 at 10:33 p.m, between the 1200 block of Newark Road and the southbound ramp to Route 1, in New Garden Township. Upon making contact with Lipnicki, Police detected the odor of marijuana and observed smoke inside the vehicle. Lipnicki admitted to having smoked marijuana that night and admitted to swallowing the marijuana “roach”, as he was being pulled over. DUI » Osvaldo Solis-Palomares, 35, of Coatesville was arrested and charged with DUI (Controlled Substances) and related traffic offenses, as well as with violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act after the 1997 Oldsmobile he was operating was stopped for erratic driving. The incident occurred on July 27 at 9:14 p.m., in the 1300 block of Newark Road, in New Garden Township. Upon making contact with Solis-Palomares, police detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle and observed marijuana residue on his pants. THEFT CHARGES » Alex Gonzalez-Mondragon, 23, of Avondale was arrested and charged with theft and related offenses, providing false identification to law enforcement, public drunkenness, and two traffic offenses, in connection with the theft of a 1999 Mitsubishi box truck. The theft was reported to police on July 28 and the truck was reportedly taken from the 6600 block of Limestone Road, in New Garden Township. The investigation revealed that Gonzalez-Mondragon had been stopped driving the truck and had been cited the day before, prior to the theft being reported to police. PROWLING » Yander Villafuerte, 20, of West Grove was arrested and charged with Loitering and Prowling at Night Time and with violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act. The incident occurred on July 30 at 12:41 a.m., in the 100 block of Prospect Avenue, in West Grove Borough. Police had been dispatched to the area for a report of a subject attempting to break into vehicles and a description of the subject was provided to police. DUI » Kyle E. Revels. Sr., 30, of Kennett Square was arrested and charged with DUI and related traffic offenses, as well as with violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act (Act 64), following a traffic stop for speeding and failing to maintain his lane of travel. The incident occurred on Aug. 2 at 8:03 a.m., in the 1300 block of Newark Road, in New Garden Township. Upon making contact with Revels, he advised police that he was running late for work and was texting on his phone. DUI » Andrew C. McCool, 39, of Westville, NJ was charged with DUI (Controlled Substances) and related traffic offenses, as well as with violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act, in connection with a two-vehicle crash that occurred back on June 1, in the 9000 block of Gap Newport Pike, in New Garden Township. Investigation into the accident revealed that McCool, who was the at-fault driver of a Mack dump truck, had followed the other vehicle too closely and was unable to stop before striking it.
