North Italia to open, job fairs slated
UPPER MERION » A new King of Prussia eatery that bills itself as a “modern Italian neighborhood restaurant” has earmarked the day after our farewell-to-summer cookouts as the perfect time to begin hiring.
North Italia, which is set to open at King of Prussia Mall on Oct. 3, will host two job fairs beginning Sept. 4, with a goal of hiring more than 140 people.
Available positions include servers, hosts/hostesses, prep cooks, pastry cooks, line cooks, dishwashers, pizza cooks and bartenders.
Interested candidates should plan on attending the fairs to apply and interview on Sept. 4 through 8, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sept. 10 through 15, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“We are excited to bring our level of hospitality and great food to the King Of Prussia area,” noted Kevin Brown, Regional Manager of Restaurant Operations for North Italia. “With this being our first North Italia in Pennsylvania, we are looking to hire amazing team members, and bring our culture to the East Coast. Personable, knowledgeable and passionate people are who we are looking for to join our team.”
Open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, North Italia features hand-made pasta and pizza and a rotating seasonal menu that incorporates “inventive flavor combinations,” as noted in a press release.
The menu ranges from such
rustic fare as Proscuitto Pizza with mission fig, goat cheese and arugula to Grilled Branzino with Cipollini onion, fennel, broccolini,
farro, lemon and butter.
Weekend brunches will be highlighted by Nonna Casserole and a selection of sides such as lemon donuts and granola parfait
North Italia KOP will also feature handcrafted cocktails, in addition to reserve
wine and local craft beers. Guests will be able to enjoy a happy hour with signature specials like the Bottle & Board, a pizza, bruschetta or Chef’s Board paired with a bottle of red or white wine.
Widely known for its modern and stylish atmosphere,
North Italia KOP will offer an open and airy floor plan with exhibition kitchen overlooking the dining room, community tables, bar and seating for up to 306 guests both indoors and outside on the patio.
North Italia is part of

North Italia is located on the lower level of King of
Prussia Mall, 160 N. Gulph Road, King of Prussia, beneath the Savor food court.
