Missing Berwyn man located

BERWYN » A Berwyn man missing for several days has been located.

Jeremy Alwine, 20, last seen early Monday morning, has been found, Easttown Township police said.

His vehicle was found parked unattended in the Berwyn SEPTA lot at 5 p.m. Monday. His wallet and cellphone were in the glove box and his school bag was in the back seat. The car was locked and keys were missing, and a county-wide search was immediatel­y launched.

Police reports across the region: Pedestrian struck Both the Keystone Valley Fire Department and the Sadsburyvi­lle Fire Company responded to the scene of a pedestrian that was struck by a car Tuesday afternoon shortly after 12:30 p.m. The from accident happened on Route 30 and Quaker Lane in Sadsbury Township. According to Chester County’s Department of Emergency Services, a pedestrian was changing a tire and was hit by a vehicle. That person was taken by ambulance to Paoli Hospital. The Sadsbury Township Police Department is investigat­ing. Road rage Both the Westtown East Goshen Regional Police and the West Whiteland Township Police responded to a road rage incident Tuesday morning. The incident began on the westbound 30 Bypass, with two men, driving in separate vehicles, getting into some sort of altercatio­n. Police responded along the 700 block West Lincoln Highway, in West Whiteland Township around 11:20 a.m. where the men got off the bypass and encountere­d one another again. According to West Whiteland Township Police, one man exited his vehicle and began pounding on the trunk of the other man’s vehicle, causing damage. There were no reported injuries. The West Whiteland Township Police Department is investigat­ing. Fraud The East Brandywine Fire Company says it was alerted recently to a fraud. The company says that the Pennsylvan­ia State Associatio­n of Township Supervisor­s has made them aware of this scam. In recent weeks, fake fundraisin­g solicitati­ons and requests for volunteer firefighte­rs have been showing up throughout Pennsylvan­ia. Illegal firearm On Monday, Aug. 27, at 10:10 a.m. the Westtown East Goshen Regional Police stopped the driver of a gray Subaru Legacy sedan for speeding in the 1100 block of Wilmington Pike (Route 202) in Westtown Township. The driver was identified as Ebony Lynn Andrews of Wilmington, Delaware. She was subsequent­ly arrested for carrying a firearm without a license, possession of marijuana and drug parapherna­lia and speeding.
