5K Run/Walk to be held at Kerr Park, Struble Trail

COATESVILLE » Chester County Women’s Services (CCWS), a local non-profit pregnancy care medical center, is holding their annual 5K Run/Walk For Life on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at Kerr Park and Struble Trail in Downingtown.

The event commences next to the Kerr Park playground with the run/walk beginning at 9am, followed by Family Fun Day from 9:30 - 11:30am. Children’s games and prizes, as well as a Kid’s Run will provide entertainment for the young guests, all free of charge.

Registration is available at www.runsignup.com/ CCWS. Register before September 1st to get early bird pricing and a free t-shirt! Guests are encouraged to bring a baby item such as diapers, wipes, or clothing to donate to a local families in need.

Proceeds from this event will provide free medical and educational services to women and families facing the tough choices that come with an unplanned pregnancy.

CCWS is a Pregnancy Care Medical Center that exists to educate and empower individuals and their families to make life-affirming choices. All services are free and are offered in both English and Spanish. Families are supported physically, emotionally, and financially through basic pregnancy care, parenting education, peer counseling, a homeless prevention program and community referrals.
