Kennett Dems to open office in downtown Kennett Square

KENNETT SQUARE » The Kennett Area Democrats this week will celebrate the grand opening of their campaign office for the 2018 mid-term elections.

The office will be located at 120 S Broad Street on the corner of Broad and Cyprus in Kennett Square. It will be open on Sept. 6 through election day on Tuesday, November 6th. During the month of September, the office will be open Monday through Friday 1 pm until 9pm and Saturday from 10 am until 5 pm. Sunday’s hours will be 1 pm until 5 pm. Office hours will be extended as the election draws closer.

The Sept. 6 grand opening celebratio­n will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will provide an opportunit­y to meet many of the candidates, enjoy snacks, desserts, cold beverages and entertainm­ent provide by guitarist Tom Houghton.

Kennett Democrats will also provide an opportunit­y to register to vote or change party affiliatio­n, provide informatio­n on how to cast an absentee ballot for our college age students away from home and of course informatio­n on all of the candidates running.

Many of our local candidates are planning to attend – including but not limited to: Christina Sappey – Democratic State Representa­tive candidate in the 158th district and Anton Andrew – Democratic State Representa­tive candidate in the 160th district.

Informatio­n will be available on the entire slate of Democratic candidates running for office.

Bob Casey Jr – United States Senate

Tom Wolfe – Pennsylvan­ia Governor

John Fetterman – Pennsylvan­ia Lt Governor

Chrissy Houlihan – United States Congress – Pennsylvan­ia’s 6th district

And the local candidates.

The public may tour the new office, get the facts, register to vote and bring a friend.
