He devoted his life to building his business, cultivating relationships with his customers and providing decades of unparalleled service. He was a respected mechanic and car aficionado, competing in automobile and motorcycle races in his young adult years and never losing his appreciation of a good car story to be shared.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Patricia (Farmer) Teter, in 1990.
He is survived by their three children, Barbara Teter Goodale (Neil), Dale Teter (Kathy), and Aaron Teter (Michelle); his seven grandchildren: Ian Goodale, Abigail Teter, Max Teter, Alex Teter, Benjamin Goodale, Nico Teter, Emily Teter; and two great grandchildren, Rose Goodale, Trevor Carl Teter.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William and is survived by his sister, Evelyn Ristine and many nieces and nephews.
He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone.
