Thomas Francis Donohoe III

Thomas Francis Donohoe, III, 85, passed away peacefully in his home in Stone Harbor, New Jersey on Aug. 23, 2018. Tommy grew up in the Overbrook area of Philadelphia, where he attended Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School and the University of Pennsylvania. After serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska, he married Meta Baily Donohoe in 1959. He then began his successful career with Allstate Insurance Company, from which he retired in 1998. They raised their three children in West Chester, PA and Stone Harbor, NJ.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Meta, and his three children, Meta Ann Mooney, Thomas Francis ‘Chip’ (Rosa) Donohoe and Deborah Carol (Ed) Orzech. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Anne Christina Donohoe, Meta Katherine Mooney, Jana Morgan Orzech, Timothy Joseph Mooney Jr., Thomas Francis ‘Nico’ Donohoe V, Jake Edward Orzech, John Thomas ‘Jack’ Mooney and Brandon Villalobos Donohoe.

A funeral Mass will be held at Saint Paul’s Church in Stone Harbor @ 11 a.m. on Sept. 29, 2018, with visitation time preceding the Mass from 10-11 a.m. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the Stephen B. Ludlam American Legion Post 331 in Stone Harbor at 12:30 p.m.
