Zoup! opens in East Whiteland
Grand opening raises funds for hospital foundation
The fast casual restaurant hosted lunches and a special dinner to raise funds for hospital foundation.
Just in time for cooler temperatures, Zoup! has officially opened in the Uptown Worthington development in East Whiteland.
To mark its Sept. 24 opening, the fast casual restaurant hosted two preview lunches and a special VIP pre-opening dinner that raised more than $500 in donations for the Paoli Hospital Foundation. The funds will support the foundation’s efforts to provide compassionate care and community health programs, according to a press release.
“We’re thrilled to open our doors for our friends and neighbors in Malvern,” co-owner Paul Diaz said in the release. Diaz and his wife Julie own and operate Zoup! locations in Lancaster, Plymouth Meeting, Wyomissing and Collegeville. “Julie and I opened our first store 11 years ago just down the road in Frazer, so we know the people of Malvern well. We’re confident that guests will love our gourmet soups and our dedication to serving the community.”
The 2,366 square foot restaurant seats 71 guests in the dining room. Located at 650 Carnegie Blvd., Zoup! features 12 rotating daily varieties of soup. The menu
also includes seasonal, made-to-order salads and sandwiches.
