Georgeanne Reed Gilpin of Exton

Georgeanne (Jan) Reed Gilpin 90, of Exton, PA passed away on October 7, 2018. Georgeanne was born August 9, 1928 in Coatesville, PA, the daughter of the late Janette (Donny) and Frank Wayne Reed Jr.

Beloved wife of Jerry Zwack (together for 29 loving years) and of the late Paul Mark Maston Jr. Predeceased by her children; Stephen (Steve) and Gary, and survived by her sons; Charles (Chuck) and David. Jan is also survived by her granddaughter, Leah and greatgrandchildren Corinne, Kendall and Owen.

Jan served on the Board of Directors for the West Chester YWCA for many years. At the Church of the Good Samaritan in Paoli, Jan volunteered as a Sunday school teacher and assisted in establishing the Church Boutique. Jan loved to sing and dance, and was artistically creative in crafts, painting and was also an avid bridge player. She will be missed by many as she truly inspired others to enjoy life to the fullest.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Life Celebration Service on Tuesday, October 23 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Church of the Good Samaritan, 212 W. Lancaster Ave. Paoli, PA 19301. Interment will be private.
