Robert (Bob) Reeder, age 61, a resident of Cochranvil­le for 24 years, passed away suddenly in the line of duty on October 20, 2018 at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland. He was raised in Linwood, PA and was a 1975 graduate of Chichester High School, a 1982 graduate of Delaware Community College Paramedic Program and a graduate of Widener University.

Robert was employed with the Crozer-Chester Medical Center for 36 years. He served as president of Delaware County Emergency Health Council, affiliate faculty for the American Heart Associatio­n, and an instructor for the American Burn Associatio­n. He was also a former member of the Marcus Hook Baptist Church.

He was the son of the late Vernon and Carol (Stanton) Reeder. He was the twin brother of the late Christophe­r Reeder and grandfathe­r of his little angel Scarlet.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 13 years Kathy Reeder; Children: Matthew, Lauren (Mike) Kauffman, Jessica (Kyle), and Jennifer (Joshua) Kauffman; Sister: Wendy Monhollan; Grandchild­ren: Wyatt, Stella Rose, Weston; an Uncle, and many Aunts, Cousins, Nephews, and Nieces.

VISITATION: Wednesday from 5-9 pm and Thursday from 9:30 – 11:15 am at the Brookhaven Community Center, 2 Cambridge Rd., Brookhaven, PA. FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday at 11:30 am at Brookhaven Community Center. BURIAL: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfiel­d.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS: As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributi­ons may be made to Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, where Emily Egan, the daughter of Bob’s friend and co-worker, is currently receiving treatment.
