New branch opens in West Chester
WEST CHESTER >> New Jerseybased First Bank continues its western expansion with the opening of a branch in West Chester.
The West Chester location, 121 N. Walnut Street, Suite 320, is First Bank’s 18th branch, its fifth in Pennsylvania and the first in Chester County. First Bank also has branches in Doylestown, Levittown, Trevose and Warminster, all in Bucks County.
“Our customers care more about relationships than transactions, which is why this new location is more about people than real estate,” Patrick L. Ryan, First Bank president and CEO, said in a press release. “We have hired a special team of professionals who know West Chester and the sur-
rounding area. They will serve as great ambassadors for First Bank’s mission that puts customers and community first.”
Ed Caporellie is serving as First Bank’s West Chester branch manager. He had previously worked as a market leader with Susquehanna/BBT and as AVP/branch manager with Wells Fargo — both in West Chester.
Joseph Calabro has been named market executive. He most recently worked with BB&T, prior to joining First Bank about a year ago. In addition, First Bank recently hired West Chester resident Emilio Cooper as its new EVP/chief deposit
