Diane L. Mahan of Honey Brook

Diane L. Mahan, 65, of Honey Brook died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at her home.

Born in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Raymond and Thelma Hannah Bildleman Starkweather, and the wife of Robert Allen Mahan with whom she shared 40 years together.

Diane loved being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafting, and gardening. She was a loving, caring and giving person, who always thought of others before herself. She will be most remembered for her nurturing nature and her inviting positive outlook that uplifted the spirits of everyone that shared her life. She was deeply loved by all those whose lives she has touched, and she will be lovingly remembered by all.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Andrea Weathers and Jennifer Dilks (Brian); and Adam Blackman (Dena Cooper); Robert A. Mahan, Jr. (Melissa); Crystal Gill (Kevin); Michael Mahan; 18 Grandchildren; 6 Greatgrandchildren: and one sister.

In addition to her parents, Diane was pre-deceased by her 6 siblings: and her daughter, Denise Mahan Doubts.

Diane’s funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018, beginning with visitation at 1:00pm and services at 2:30pm at Wentz Funeral Home, 342 E. Chestnut Street, Coatesville 610-384-0318.
