Margaret C. Urban of Newtown Square

Margaret C. “Margy” Urban (nee Curran), age 91, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 30, 2018.

Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and May (nee Horgan) Curran.

Margy was a graduate of Radnor High School. She was employed as a supervisor with the Bell Telephone Company and then with Murray Secretarial Services.

Margy and her dear Ralph frequently took drives to Lancaster County where they spent time delighting in the scenery, shopping, and dining out. She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Philadelphia 76ers and the Phillies.

Margy will always be remembered as a devoted caregiver to many of her family, friends, and neighbors and for having a cheerful smile that lighted up the room!

Margy is the beloved wife of Ralph Urban; the loving mother of Patricia Farrell (William); devoted grandmother of Daniel Farrell (Kelly), Michael Farrell (Stephanie) and Brian Farrell. She is also survived by her siblings, Robert Curran (Patricia) and Helen Town (Fred).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Monday, November 5, 2018 9:00 to 10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
