Lester M. Bowman Jr. of West Chester

Lester M. Bowman, Jr., 71 of West Chester, PA died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester.

Born November 24, 1946 in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late Lester M. Bowman, Sr. and the late Mary Gill Bowman.

Les graduated from Henderson High School in 1964 and West Chester University in 1971.

He worked in Housekeeping for the Chester County Hospital and retired after 42 years of service.

Les was a voracious reader, Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed walking, jogging and talking to many people.

Les is survived by his sister, Mary B. Kern (George) of Silverdale, PA; niece Michelle Johnson (Darren), nephew Alexander Grande IV (Leah); great-nephews Nathaniel Johnson and Alexander Grande V., and great-niece Renee Johnson.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 10:0011:00 am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com; followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00am.

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
