Charles A. Sensenig, age 80, of Gap, PA, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 18, 2018. He was the husband of Hazel Beck Sensenig with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage on December 28th. He was born in Coatesvill­e, son of the late Donald E. & Frances Taylor Sensenig. He was a member of Calvary Monument Bible Church since 1997, where he was involved as a Stephen Minister, an usher, a greeter, and with the men’s prayer group. Prior to that he was a member of Wagontown Chapel and Willowdale Chapel. He was a graduate of Scott High School class of 1956. He served with the National Guard Army Reserves. Charlie fully retired from A. Duie Pyle of West Chester in 2015. He then worked with Smucker Brothers Constructi­on for the last three years. He was active with Transport for Christ and served on the board of the Factory Ministry. Surviving besides his wife are 3 children: Joyce, wife of Mayo Hutt, Jr. of Lancaster; Judith, wife of John Nicely of Wheaton, IL; Steven, husband of Christy Blanton Sensenig of Livingston, TX; 9 grandchild­ren, 5 great grandchild­ren, and his sister Dona J. Sensenig of Coatesvill­e. He was preceded in death by 2 children: David & Janet Sensenig and 2 brothers: Harry & Kenneth Sensenig. A celebratio­n of life service will take place at Calvary Monument Bible Church, 1660 Mine Road, Paradise, PA on Saturday, November 24th at 11 a.m. with a time to greet the family following the service. Private interment will take place in the Upper Octorara Presbyteri­an Cemetery.
