Local job fair attacks 150; 30 employers attend
COATESVILLE >> More than 150 job seekers attended last week’s job fair in Coatesville, held at the Gordon Early Literacy Center in Coatesville. The event was open to candidates of all ages, experience levels and industries, and over 30 regional businesses attended to match their employment needs with potential employee skills.
The event was coordinated by PA CareerLink Chester County, the Chester County Workforce Development Board and the Chester County Intermediate Unit. Pat Bokovitz, Director of the Chester County Department of Community Development and the County’s Workforce Development Board noted: “This event was a tremendous success. The employers who took part were very pleased with the attendance. With the numerous employment opportunities around the county, it is critical to have events like this one where employers can meet with job seekers. In the coming year, we’ll have more of these around the county and in Coatesville.”
Employers that participated in the event include Manpower Group, Coatesville Area School District, the County of Chester, Insight, Devereux, RHD – Adesha Village, Sunrise Senior Living, Triple Fresh, Express Employment Professionals, Genesis Healthcare PowerBack Rehabilitation, Krapf Bus Companies, Brandywine Hospital, CCRES, UPS, Human Services Inc., Barclay Friends and CCIU-Head Start.
Also, Acero Precusion, Securitas, Inc., Merit Medical, Integrity Staffing Solutions, Careers USA, Merakey, Aerotek, Hickory House Nursing Home, The Protection Bureau, Randstad Staffing, Interim Healthcare, Premier Eldercase Solutions, CP Yeatman & Sons Inc., Country Fresh Mushrooms, South Mill/Kaolin Mushrooms and Phillips Mushrooms.
