Coatesville woman arrested after biting cashier, throwing milk at her
WEST WHITELAND >> A Coatesville woman was arrested after police said she attempted to steal $14 worth of merchandise from the Giant supermarket and bit an employee on her hand and threw a container of milk at her when the employee tried to stop her.
Dana Brandon, 45, of Coatesville, was charged with robbery, simple assault, harassment, retail theft and receiving stolen property in connection with the Oct. 13 incident.
Police filed the charges after a brief investigation. Police said a store employee allegedly observed Brandon conceal at least $14 worth of merchandise in her purse. The employee approached Brandon to recover the merchandise. Brandon allegedly bit the employee on her the hand and threw a container of milk at the employee.
Police said Brandon then allegedly fled the scene in a vehicle. Brandon was later identified as the suspect and was charged with the offenses. Brandon was arraigned by Judge John Bailey on Nov. 19. She was released on a $15,000 unsecured bail. Her preliminary hearing was scheduled for December 6.

Toney Thomas, 54, of Washington, D.C., was charged with access device fraud, receiving stolen property, theft by deception and theft by unlawful taking. The charges were filed after an investigation into an alleged theft of
a wallet from a customer at the Giant Food store on Sept. 29. Thomas allegedly attempted to make a $500 purchase at the Target store shortly after the theft. Thomas was identified as the alleged suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest. His whereabouts are unknown.

Austin Cook, 18, of Glenmoore, Felicite Gilbert, 18, of Downingtown, Madison Kaelblein, 18, of West Chester, and Madison Grubb, 20, of Downingtown, were charged with Retail Theft on Nov. 4. The charges were filed after officers responded to the Walmart store for an alleged $108 theft. Each subject was issued a non-traffic citation and released.

Courtney Cooper, 30, of Coatesville, was charged with retail theft on Nov. 5. The charge was filed after officers responded to the Target store for an alleged $64 theft. Cooper was issued a non-traffic citation and released.

Amanda Vecchio, 28, of Downingtown, was charged with retail theft on Nov. 8. The charge was filed after officers responded to the Walmart store for an alleged $31 theft. Vecchio was issued a non-traffic citation and released.
RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
Katherine Lu, 24, of Chester Springs, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. The charges were filed after an investigation into an alleged theft at the Sunglass Hut store located inside of Macy’s on Sept.
28, 2018. Lu, who was an employee of the business, was identified as the suspect and she was charged by criminal summons.

Patrick Moran, 33, of West Chester, was charged with retail theft on Nov. 9. The charge was filed after officers responded to the Kohl’s store for an alleged $122 theft. Moran was issued a non-traffic citation and released.

Regan Lutterman, 39, of West Chester, was charged with retail theft on Nov. 9. The charge was filed after officers responded to the Kohl’s store for an alleged $141 theft. Lutterman was issued a non-traffic citation and released.

Jessica Pennington, 46, of Parkesburg, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property on Nov. 9. The charges were filed after officers responded to the Walmart store for an alleged $55 theft. Pennington was released on a criminal summons.

Casey Eno, 39, of Coatesville, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property on Nov. 10. The charges were filed after officers responded to the Walmart store for an alleged $42 theft. Eno was released on a criminal summons.
DUI
Joshua Harvey, 26, of Bryn Mawr, was charged with DUI and traffic offenses on Nov. 10. The charges were filed after a patrol officer observed a vehicle that had struck a curb and became disabled in grass in the area of Pottstown Pike and Mountainview Drive. The officer made contact with Harvey who was the alleged driver of the vehicle. Harvey was arrested after allegedly failing field sobriety tests. He was released on a criminal summons.

Russell Parkinson, 20, of Downingtown, was charged with retail theft on Nov. 11. The charge was filed after officers responded to the Walmart store for an alleged $30 theft. Parkinson was issued a non-traffic citation and released.
DUI
Daniel Siti, 44, of Ridley Park, was charged with DUI and public drunkenness on Nov, 11. The charges were filed after a patrol officer responded to the trafficway near Whole Foods for a report of a subject stopped in the roadway. The officer made contact with Siti who was the alleged operator of the vehicle. Siti was arrested after allegedly failing field sobriety tests. He was released on a criminal summons.

Alexis Hernandez-Gable, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property. The charges were filed after officers responded to the Kohl’s store for an alleged $169 theft on Nov. 13.

Michael Taylor, 23, of Downingtown, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property on Nov. 13. The charges were filed after officers responded to the Boscov’s store for an alleged $768 theft.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Joseph Reilly, 37, of West Chester, was charged with criminal mischief, harassment and disorderly conduct. The charges were filed after a patrol officer responded to the area of W. Lincoln Highway and Commons at Oakland for a reported road rage. The officer made contact with the victim who alleged that Reilly approached his vehicle and allegedly banged on the trunk with his fists. This caused $552 in damages.
Reilly was charged by criminal summons.

Caroline Heller, 57, of Coatesville, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property on Nov. 15. The charges were filed after officers responded to the Walmart store for an alleged $34 theft. Heller was released on a criminal summons.
