Allman Betts Band, Echoes to perform
Here are some live and virtual events scheduled for this weekend throughout the region:
• Live music returns to the Pat Garrett Amphitheater, Route 183at I- 78, Strausstown, Berks County, with two socially distanced shows this weekend. The Allman Betts Band will performwith opener the Jake Joyce Band on Friday at 7: 30p. m., and the Pink Floyd tribute band Echoes will take the stage Saturday at 7p. m. • ArdmoreMusic Hall will broadcast rock legends Living Colour’s only concert of 2020on Saturday at 8p. m., followed by Matt Butler’s Everyone Orchestra on Sunday at 7p. m. for their first live show since the beginning of the pandemic. Everyone Orchestra will feature Steve Kimock, Eli Winderman ( Dopapod), Dylan Skursky ( Cabinet), Arnetta Johnson and more. Both live shows will be broadcast for free via Ardmore Music Hall’s Facebook page and YouTube channel and nugs. tv. Donations to benefit the musicians and venue staff are encouraged. • 1812Productions, Philadelphia’s All Comedy Theater Company, kicks off its 2020- 21season this weekend with the original comedy “Patsy’s Block Party,” created and performed by Jennifer Childs and Brian Anthony Wilson. Childs will revisit her original character Patsy, a South Philly politico. Each performance will feature largely improvised material between Childs andWilson, including daily checkins with the presidential campaign, quarantine arts and crafts, virtual party games and nightly interviews with Philadelphians who are doing good work across the city. It will be a mixture of live performance and pre- recorded material and will be streamed through 1812Productions’ website. Performances run through Nov. 1, and tickets range from$ 28to $ 50. • From Thursday through Sunday, nugs. net will be streaming a Pearl Jam concert recorded April 29, 2016, at theWells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The 32- song, three- hour- plus performance includes a beginning- to- end performance of the band’s debut album, “10,” something Pearl Jamhad only done one other time, in 1992. Tickets are available on nugs. net for $ 14.99, with a portion of proceeds supporting Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy Foundation.
• The Community Arts Center, Wallingford, Delaware County, presents Friday Night Live, featuring a tribute to Willie Nelson by the regional band Tumbleweed, on Friday at 7p. m. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and beverages. All ages welcome. Admission is $ 15per person, $ 10for Community Arts Center members and free to CAC benefactors. • Sellersville Theatre’s Soundbooth Sessions livestream concert series presents Ken Yates on Friday at 8p. m. and Boris Garcia on Saturday at 8 p. m. The livestreams take place on Facebook and can be found either in the Facebook Videos or Events tabs. Access is free; donations to support Sellersville Theater and the artists will be requested during the shows.

• Liberty Taproom, 237 N. Prospect St., Reading, hosts Music With Matt Cullen & Friends on Saturday from 3to 7p. m. The afternoon of acoustic music on the patio will include performances by Owen Asztalos at 3p. m., Noah Gibney at 3: 30, Mike Clipman at 4, Kris Kehr at 5and Dave Hinkle and the Almost Brothers Trio at 6. The event is all ages with free admission.
• Bear CreekMountain Resort, 101Doe Mountain Lane, Longswamp Township, Berks County, hosts the Bear Creek FallMusic Fest on Sunday from noon to 6p. m. The festival is being held outdoors with physical distancing protocols in effect. Face coverings are required. There will be wineries, distilleries, vendors and food trucks on hand. Scheduled to perform are Highway 61Revival ( Bob Dylan tribute), Dead Friends ( Grateful Dead tribute), Trouble City All Stars ( reggae) and Cathy & The Spoon ( John Prine tribute featuring Chris Kasper and Kylie Ryan).
