WEST GOSHEN >> Businessman and township resident Everett Stern recently launched a campaign for a seat in the U.S. Senate.

Republican Stern unsuccessfully ran against Republican Sen. Pat Toomey in 2016. Toomey’s term ends in 2022 and he has decided not to run again.

The 36-year old Stern wants to change things in the nation’s capital.

“I want to fight corruption and do the right thing,” said the squash player. “I have to get into Washington and clean house.

“There are a lot of dirty politicians. A lot of my opponents are dirty and I’m looking to expose corruption on of both sides of the

aisle.”

Stern made an international name for himself when he passed on information to the FBI and CIA that led to HSBC receiving the largest fine ever for a bank at $1.92 billion.

The whistleblower also exposed information concerning the Iranian Hezbollah.

“Rather than just walk away, I risked my own life to prevent another terrorist attack and saved U.S. lives,” said the Atlantic University and Stetson University graduate.

Stern runs Tactical Rabbit.

He said the business is not a private investigator, but rather a private intelligence agency. He works with former CIA, FBI, DEA, Secret Service, NSA and U.S. Special Forces agents.

The candidate said he employs “private spies.”

Stern often ends lawsuits by providing key leverage on targets.

“Anybody can dig up dirt, but we actually develop leverage for actionable intelligence,” said the keeper of two 30-pound rabbits.

Stern said he built himself from nothing. He slept on a cot and waited tables at a Chinese restaurant where he subsisted mostly on noodles.

After exposing the bank,

the whistleblower of HSBC said he built himself “up from nothing.” He said he watched Toomey eat well, while HSBC created a PAC and funded campaigns.

Stern ran to challenge the standing Republican in 2016 because nobody from HSBC did jail time.

“The people of Pennsylvania deserve a leader who will fight for them against the most powerful special interests, the most entrenched politicians, and a corrupt system whose leaders have forgotten that they answer to the people,” Stern said. “There’s never been a time when bold, unafraid new leadership has been more badly needed.”
