The shipping supply specialist announced the hiring initiative on Wednesday, saying it is seeking candidates for the “competitive-paying” openings.

“Despite the challenges of COVID19, Uline continues to see substantial growth thanks to the hard work of our employees and our ability to supply companies with the products they need to stay open,” Branch Manager Tim McDonough, said in a press release. “Our Allentown facility hired 195 employees in 2020 and we are continuing to invest in the Lehigh Valley by hiring 200 more warehouse workers in 2021.”

Uline will host a hiring event at 700 Uline Way in Allentown on Saturday. Individuals must pre-register online for an interview. State health and CDC guidelines will be followed, including requiring masks and temperature checks. Sociallydistanced interviews will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Warehouse positions will offer hourly rates starting at $23/hour or higher (includes $5/hour essential worker pay premium), a sign-on bonus of $1,000 and annual bonuses over $7,000 paid in December, the company said.

A family-owned business since 1980, Uline is a distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials to businesses throughout North America.
