Jaeden Brickus had 22 points and Jaylin McNeil added nine as Coatesville beat Avon Grove, 4727, in Ches-Mont League National Division action Tuesday night. Reese Ziegler led Avon Grove with 12 and Aiden Violett added eight.

KENNETT 56, OXFORD 36 >> Zach Lower led Kennett with 14 and Ethan Schmidt added 12 in the Blue Demons’ win. Luke Mullen added 10 for Kennett. BISHOP SHANAHAN 71, WEST CHESTER HENDERSON 57 >> Zane Domsohn led Shanahan with 19 points, while Ryan Smyth had 12 points, Will O’Loughlin had 11, and Ryan Riotto added seven points for the Eagles, who had 11 players score in the game. For Henderson, Eddie Smink led the scoring with 17 points, Ryan Kirby had 15 points, Luke Domoneek had nine points, and Shawn Fay added eight points.

WEST CHESTER RUSTIN 50, GREAT VALLEY 24 >> Laine McGurk led Rustin with 22 points as the Golden Knights rolled past the Patriots in Ches-Mont American action. Laney Costin added eight points for Rustin.

Boys Swimming

MALVERN PREP QUAD MEET >> Nick Harris broke his own school diving record with a score of 347.70 and Ben Kutufaris won the 50 free (21.35) and 100 free (46.94) as the Friars had a big day against Episcopal Academy, Haverford School and Penn Charter. Kutufaris was part of the victorious 200 medley relay (1:37.08) with Alex Hamill, Patrick Rooney and Brady Tierney. Tierney won the 500 free (4:51.86), Kevin Cary won the 200 free (1:41.83) and Rooney won the 100 breaststroke (59.87). Cary, Kutufaris, Eric Yablonski and Tierney won the 200 free relay (1:28.03), while Yablonski, Tierney, Hamill and Cary won the 400 free relay (3:14.07).
