Patricia Rambo, beloved wife and best friend of husband Harry Rambo and beloved daughter of Elizabeth Bochicchio, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2021 surrounded by love.

Pat was born March 16, 1948 in Scranton, PA to Elizabeth (Nolan) where she grew up and graduated from Scranton Central High School in 1966.

Pat completed a Bachelor of Science in Education at West Chester University and a Master of Science in School Counseling from Villanova University. She was a school guidance counselor at Stetson Middle School in West Chester, Springfiel­d High School (Delco) and Delaware County Community College. Pat retired in 2015 after completing a very successful counseling career over 47 years during which she helped countless students with a focus on college admissions. Pat was also president of the Pennsylvan­ia Associatio­n for College Admission Counselors (PACAC).

Pat married Harry in 1973 and they had a loving and wonderful life together sharing a love of travel including many trips to California, Maui and Europe. In addition to travel, Pat loved reading murder mysteries, watching foreign mysteries on TV and relaxing at home in West Chester. Pat also had a keen interest in mindfulnes­s meditation and participat­ed in many retreats conducted by Vietnamese Buddhist monk, author and peace activist Thich Naht Hahn.

Pat passed from this life as she lived it, with joy, humor, grace, dignity, compassion, gratitude and love.

Pat is survived by husband Harry, mother Elizabeth, brother-in-law Peter Rambo, sister-in-law Maryann Gilio, aunt Maureen Nolan, nephew Patrick Dunnigan, several cousins, and a circle of wonderful friends.

She is pre-deceased by step father Ralph “Murph” Bochicchio, uncle Dr. Gerald Nolan, and brother James Dunnigan. Funeral is private. In lieu of flowers or donations, please do something nice for a loved one.
