Kennett man arrested after assault sends woman to hospital
NEW GARDEN » A Kennett Square man is facing criminal charges after police said he hit a woman he knew in the face so hard, she lost consciousness and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Arrested in the domestic assault was Tyler Donohue, 25. He was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.
Southern Chester County Regional Police said incident occurred on Wednesday Sept. 29, 2021 at 12:01 a.m., in the 400 block of Pemberton Road, in New Garden Township. The victim was found with swelling to her face, profuse bleeding to her nose and broken blood vessels in her eye.
She was transported, by ambulance, to the hospital where officers spoke with her. She told them that Donohue had been using narcotics and they had verbally argued. As the victim called 911, Donohue struck her in the face with a closed fist and she lost consciousness. Police returned to the residence and took Donohue into custody.
Donohue was transported to the Chester County Prison for processing and arraignment. He was committed to Chester County Prison after failing to post bail.

BURGLARY » West Chester Borough Police are investigating a burglary discovered that took place in the 50 block of West Gay Street,
West Chester Borough. Officers were dispatched to the incident on October 18, 2021 at approximately 8:10 a.m. Through the investigation, it’s been determined, several individuals entered the property through an unlocked rear door. Once inside, several food items were taken. This incident is believed to have occurred the night prior between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. TERRORISTIC THREATS » On October 23, 2021 at 7:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of a a harassment with terroristic threats. As a result of this incident and investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Maxwell Pugh, 20 of West Chester. On Oct. 26, 2021 Pugh turned himself in. Pugh was arrested and arraigned. BICYCLE THEFT » On Tuesday Oct. 26, 2021 at approximately 2:46 p.m. officers were dispatched to Henderson High School, 325 North Penn Street for a theft of a bicycle. Police spoke to the victim and assistant principal of school. At approximately 11:58 a.m., an unknown person wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and red sweat pants walks into the property, removed the bicycle and is last seen walking west toward East Biddle Street. The bicycle is described as a blue frame with black accessories EBike with pedals. Anybody with information is urged to contact the West Chester Police Department. CORRUPTION OF MINORS » Two female juveniles, ages 13 and 14, reported that an adult who was known to them, Feliciano JimenezSegura, inappropriately touched them on more than one occasion at their residence located in the Borough of West Chester. Feliciano Jimenez-Segura, 23, of West Chester, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Contact With a Child, Corruption of Minors and Indecent Assault. Jiminez-Segura was transported to the Chester County Prison for arraignment. DRUG CHARGES » On Oct. 23 at 3:15 a.m., officers initiated a traffic stop in the 100 Block E. Market Street after observing multiple vehicle code violations. Upon making contact with the driver, identified as Jordan Grant, 19, of Philadelphia, officers observed marijuana in plain view. Grant exhibited signs of marijuana impairment, and he was subsequently taken into custody. Grant was charged with DUI and possession of marijuana and was released on a summons. TRESPASS » On Oct. 21, 2021 at 6:30 p.m., the West Chester Police Department was dispatched to the 100 block of West Marshall Street for a report of a Criminal Trespass that just occurred. Through an investigation, it was determined that Keith Foote, 39, of West Chester, entered the property illegally. Foote was taken in to custody and brought back to the station for processing. Foote was transported to Chester County Prison for arraignment. RETAIL THEFT » On Oct. 20, at 11:30 p.m., the West Chester Police Department was dispatched to the 200 block of South High Street for the report of a retail theft that just occurred. Officers responded to the area and found a male matching the description of the subject from the retail theft. Following a brief foot pursuit, Sean Glaum, 46, from West Chester, was taken in to custody for Retail theft and Disorderly conduct. Glaum was brought back to the police station, processed, cited and released.

WARRANT » District Court issued an arrest warrant for Kevis Bell on Oct. 20, 2021 for the following incident. On Sept. 20, 2021 Officers were dispatched for a report regarding stolen checks. The victim was notified by Upper Chichester Police they had Kevis Bell in custody for an unrelated incident and he was in possession of forged checks from the victim’s business account. Bell was working as a contractor on the victim’s house moving items and was not supervised the entire time he was working at their residence. The total amount of forged checks was approximately $7,000. After further investigation, charges were filed for forgery and related offenses.

HIT AND RUN » Cayetano Perez Sr., 64, of Nottingham, was arrested and charged with Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury, Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury while not properly licensed, Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle or property, and related summary traffic offenses, following a Hit and Run Accident. The incident occurred on Sunday Sept. 26, 2021 at 4:35 p.m., in the 900 block of Newark Road, in New Garden Township. The victim, a motorcycle rider, struck a vehicle, that pulled out from a driveway, and the vehicle left the scene. The description of the truck was provided by the victim, who suffered major injuries to his leg. Video surveillance of the vehicle, provided by a resident, was distributed via social media. On Sept. 30, 2021, Perez Sr. voluntarily arrived at the station and admitted to the accident during an interview. He was taken into custody and transported to the Chester County Prison for processing and arraignment. He was released on bail.

STUDENT CHARGED » The Oxford Police Department charged juvenile female for malicious manual alarm press on a 911 call box within the Oxford Transportation Center, 3 Octoraro Alley. Surveillance video observed the female press the alarm and flee the area before emergency responders arrived.
Westtown-East Goshen
VEHICLE BREAK-INS » The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department is actively investigating a rash of vehicle break-ins that have been occurring throughout Westtown and East Goshen townships, as well as surrounding townships over the past several weeks. More recently, in the overnight hours of Sept. 26, 2021, numerous vehicles were broken into in the Pleasant Grove Community of Westtown Township. The suspect is seen actively pulling on numerous car door handles throughout the neighborhood and removing items. Several different camera videos of the suspect are shown in the attached video.

FIREARM CHARGES » Charges have been fined for the theft of firearm and related offenses, including persons not to possess a firearms, after a police investigation into the reported theft, ending on Aug. 25, 2021. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Duane Raymon Cook and the stolen handgun are asked to contact the Parkesburg Police at 610-857-3535.
