Tickets will be $3 on Saturday
WYOMISSING >> Fox Theatres has announced that Fox Berkshire, 800 Berkshire Blvd. in Wyomissing will participate in National Cinema Day on Saturday, Sept. 3. Fox Berkshire will offer discounted admission of $3 and a special concessions combo priced at $7.00 for the day.
More than 3,000 theaters from around the country will be participating in the one-day National Cinema Day event that will bring together audiences of all ages to enjoy a day at the movies with exclusive previews and deep discounts. In addition to theaters, all major film studios are also participating.
“After the challenges of the pandemic, we want to thank our customers for coming to the movies. The shared experience of seeing a movie in the theater can’t be replicated at home, and we look forward to welcoming everyone for the magic of seeing a movie on the big screen,” Donald Fox, president and CEO of Fox Theatres, said in a statement.
Customers will be able to see favorites like Jaws (remastered for 3D!); Spider-Man: No Way Home — The More Fun Stuff Version; Top Gun: Maverick; Where The Crawdads Sing; Bullet Train; The Invitation; Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero; DC League of Super-Pets; Minions: Rise of Gru; Beast; and Breaking — each for $3.
Tickets can be purchased at Fox Theatres’ website foxshowtimes.com. For more details about the national effort, visit NationalCinemaDay.org.
Organizers of National Cinema Day described the event as a trial that could become an annual fixture, designed to attract movie-goers to theaters during a slower time of year.
