The 501 at Mattison Estate celebrates grand opening

-

The 501 at Mattison Estate, a new SageLife senior living community in Ambler, Montgomery County, recently celebrated its grand opening and official ribbon cutting with residents, staff, partners and community leaders.

The 501 at Mattison Estate, which opened its doors in the spring, offers independent living, assisted living, memory care and the opportunity for respite and restorative stays.

The grand opening event included a ceremonial ribbon cutting by Upper Dublin Township Manager Kurt Ferguson, Pennsylvania State Representative Ben Sanchez, SageLife President Kelly Andress, General Manager Parrish Phillips and Kyle Wisdom of Southbay Partners, who developed the community.

Other highlights included acknowledgement by U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick’s office of a U.S. flag that was raised and flown over the U.S. Capitol, and the 501 at Mattison awarding a $1,500 donation to the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund in support of their annual Holiday Adopt-a-Family Program.

“Celebrating our grand opening with so many honored guests and getting to showcase the luxury, retirement-living experience now available in Upper Dublin Township was remarkable,” said Parrish Phillips, general manager at The 501 at Mattison Estate. “They saw firsthand how our unique location in Ambler next to the Lindenwold Castle and close to all the unique shops, delicious restaurants and vibrant nightlife, allows residents to enjoy a hospitality-focused community without any of the headaches of home ownership.”

After the event, guests could tour the community, which includes studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments complete with kitchenettes, full baths and other features. Other amenities include a dog park, pool, fitness center, movie theater and multiple dining venues.

“Our mission is to create the best home for each member of the SageLife family every day by encouraging, empowering, and celebrating successful aging,” said Andress. “We are unique in that we go where our residents take us; our communities reflect the priorities and preferences of the people who make their home in them.”

In addition to offering luxury living in a community of seniors, the 501 at Mattison Estate provides an array of personalized care options that meets each resident where they are in their aging journey so they can live life fully.

Assisted living

The assisted living program provides support for residents’ activities of daily living, whether they need a little bit of help or more comprehensive care.

Residents are encouraged to take full advantage of all the activities, programs, dining options and convenient services the community offers and to retain their independence while benefiting from the caregiving team’s around-theclock, hospitality-focused support.

Memory care

SageLife memory care staff are trained in the Positive Approach to Care philosophy. Developed by dementia care expert Teepa Snow, the approach recognizes and incorporates the individual’s changing abilities to adjust expectations and delivery of the most appropriate care at every moment.

Respite and restorative stays

The 501 at Mattison Estate provides on-call 24/7 support for individuals who require rehab after an injury or medical procedure. Patients can focus on their recovery and not have to worry about cooking, cleaning, or taking care of their home.

The 501 is a part of the SageLife community network of independent living, personal care, assisted living and memory care communities in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. For more information, visit https://www.sagelife.com/ mattison-estate.
