Augustine T. Ciuffetelli

Augustine T. “Tom” Ciuffetelli, 81 of West Chester, PA passed away Tuesday March 12, 2024 in West Chester.

He was the husband of Susan M. Ciuffetelli (Iacovelli).

Born September 16, 1942 in Wilmington, DE he was the son of the late Augustino Ciuffetelli and the late Carmina Iore Ciuffetelli. Augustine grew up in Kennett Square and graduated from Kennett High School and attended Rutgers University.

He served 6 years in the Army in the Telecommunication field which was the gateway for working as a Field Service Engineer for HewlettPackard for 21 years, until he opened his sporting goods store.

Augustine was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church West Chester, PA.

He was an avid sportsman and always willing to share his knowledge of the sports. Tom also enjoyed cooking and hosting family gatherings.

In addition to his wife, Susan, Tom is survived by his children, Annette Ciuffetelli, Victoria Ciuffetelli Trask (James) and Jody Ciuffetelli, his grandchildren, Christopher Ciuffetelli, Chad Mengle, Carl Pragg (Alex), Victoria Ciuffetelli Farthing (Russell) and Great-Grandchildren, Kali Pragg, Jeremy Pragg, Anthony Pragg and Lenix Pragg. In addition to many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Muscarella and 3 brothers, Alfred, Bernadino, Louis.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday March 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Church 1325 E. Boot Rd. West Chester PA 19380, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester PA.

A future celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
