Louise Agnes Sabo

Louise Agnes Sabo, 98, of Honey Brook, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 surrounded by family at Hickory House Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank M. Sabo, Jr., with whom she shared 73 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2020.

Born in Downingtown, she was the daughter of the late Louie F. Bruno and Gemma Gentile Bruno.

Early on, Louise worked at various places in the Downingtown area such as Ball & Ball Brass, The old Downingtown box shop on boot road, Denny Tag in West Chester, and Royal Paper in Caln just to name a few. She also enjoyed going to Church, gardening, cooking, canning, knitting, sewing, carpentry classes and making a beautiful home for all her family.

Louise was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to raising and nurturing her family. She was always available to lend a helping hand. Louise will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her beautiful smile would always light up the room. We would like to sincerely thank the Nurses, CNA’s and support staff at Hickory House Nursing Home for their care and compassion.

Louise is survived by her six children, Monica Hess (Francis), Elaine Sabo, Mary Ammon, Lorraine March, Frank M. Sabo, III. (Kimberly), and Gema Sabo. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Louise was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at St. Peter Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine Twp. Family and friends will be received from 9:45-11:15 a.m. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Saint Jude Hospital for Children or Saint Peter Church.
