UCLA bounces back with victory over Washington

The Trojans clawed back from a 19-point deficit to defeat the visiting Cougars in their regular-season finale.

USC (21-8, 11-7 Pac-12) outscored the Cougars (1910, 9-9) in the fourth 21-9.

WSU shot 56.5% from the floor in the first half, including 6 of 12 from 3-point range, to build a 32-16 lead at the break. USC, meanwhile, shot just 17.6% over the first 20 minutes.

The Trojans shot 60% in the fourth while the Cougars went 3 of 11.

USC was led by Kadi Sissoko, who had a game-high 18 points along with 13 rebounds. Destiny Littleton added 14 points.

WSU got 17 points apiece from Bella Murekatete and Charlisse Leger-Walker, who also had 10 rebounds.

Gianna Kneepkens scored 28 points to lead the Utes to a victory over the visiting Cardinal and a share of their first regular-season Pac-12 title.

Alissa Pili finished with 14 points and Kennedy McQueen had 10 points, five rebounds, four assists and six steals for Utah (25-3, 153), which shares the conference title with Stanford.

Hannah Jump led Stanford (27-4, 15-3) with 24 points. Cameron Brink had 14 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, and Haley Jones added nine points and eight rebounds.

Utah led the entire second half, but Stanford pulled within one at 73-72 after Brink and Jones combined to make four straight baskets.

Kneepkens hit a 3 to keep the Cardinal from erasing the deficit completely.

The Utes forced three straight turnovers in the final minute to secure the win.

Stanford seized a quick 9-0 lead after making four straight baskets. Utah used stout defense to erase the deficit, going ahead 10-9 on a pair of free throws from Kelsey Rees. The Utes held the Cardinal scoreless for five minutes and forced four turnovers in that stretch.

Raegan Beers had 24 points and 13 rebounds, fellow freshman Adlee Blacklock scored 22 and the Beavers (12-17, 4-14 Pac-12) ended a nine-game losing streak with a home upset of the Wildcats.

Esmery Martinez had 16 points and eight rebounds for Arizona (21-8, 11-7).

Aaronette Vonleh scored 25 points and the host Buffaloes (22-7, 13-5 Pac-12) beat the Golden Bears (1316, 4-14).

Aaliyah Edwards scored 16 points and the Huskies beat the host Blue Demons to clinch at least a share of the Big East regular season championsh­ip.

DePaul led by as much as seven in the second half and was nursing a four-point lead late in the fourth, but Edwards and Lou Lopez Sénéchal scored to tie it at 65 with 3:10 left.

Then Edwards scored off a turnover with 2:40 to go to put the Huskies (26-5, 17-2 Big East) ahead.

Aneesah Morrow had 25 points and eight rebounds for DePaul (15-15, 8-11).
