Kershaw status

GM Brandon Gomes said the door is still open for Clayton Kershaw to rejoin the Dodgers in 2024 and “We continue to stay in touch with Clayton.” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he exchanged texts with the unsigned free agent recently to see how Kershaw is doing in his recovery from shoulder surgery in November.

“His rehab is coming along really well,” Roberts said. “You know us – we're going to keep in contact and talk. He's always been a Dodger. That's our hope as well.

“I think his thought process right now is dominate the rehab process and get something done when it makes sense.”

It will start to make more sense on Thursday when the Dodgers will be able to move players to the 60-day injured list and off the active roster. Dustin May, Tony Gonsolin and Nick Frasso are certainties
